Mac Metal, a Wisconsin-based leading metal fabricator of high-quality weldments and metal products, has successfully obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification of its Manufacture and Assembly of Fabricated Metal Parts for OEM Customers.
“For over 50 years, Mac Metal has been committed to delivering quality, defect free parts – on time and on budget,” said Ted Haischer, President of Mac Metal. “However, even though we’ve had customers ranging from small family businesses to Fortune 500 companies, occasionally our lack of certification has come up. Now, that won’t be an issue.”
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). It is used by companies focused on providing consistent products and services that meet customer needs and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
ISO standards are regularly reviewed to ensure its requirements reflect best practices for organizations, as well as the needs of customers, in the evolving marketplace.
Mac Metal received ISO 9001:2015 in October 2022, the culmination of more than half a century of continuous improvement and implementation of numerous quality assurance protocols.
“Our commitment to quality is the lifeblood of Mac Metal,” added Haischer. “While we have always lived by this philosophy, the ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates and acknowledges this dedication to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations for quality and performance.”
